Car Hydrogen Generators

In these days of gas prices toppling well-over four dollars per gallon, most people would consider just about any other fuel alternative.  Hydrogen generators basically use molecular hydrogen instead of gasoline to run the combustion engine; however, molecular hydrogen doesn’t just occur easily.

It must be produced through thermochemical methods like natural gas, coal gasification, biomass gasification and others or through thermolysis or as biohydrogen.  The most popular method of obtaining molecular hydrogen, however, is through the electrolisis of water.  In these circumstances, hydrogen car kits can convert a tradition engine into a hydrogen fuel vehicle generator.

Besides the cost of gasoline, hydrogen hybrid cars also reduce the amount of CO2 emitted, and it is this fact that has made the idea so popular.  Also, hydrogen as a fuel would be consumed and produced continuously and cleanly by incorporating solar or wind power for the electrolosis.

Added benefits beyond fuel consumption are also a part of powering vehicles with hydrogen power. The product of the hydrogen reaction is hot steam which serves as a powerful cleansing device for your vehicles exhaust system. The build up of the products from traditional fuel-injection and carbuerator systems results in decreased efficiency in a traditional vehicle, however, with the added boost of hydrogen power, your exhaust is regularly "steam-cleaned" and thus efficiency is never lost due to clogged pipes.

Its important to consider both the legend and the reality in terms of car hydrogen generators but in the right vehicle, with the right monitoring, the benefits can far outweigh the cost and risk. Your environment will thank you.

There are few different kits out there. You can always opt for building your own with your own design but a kit can offer an almost guarantee that it will work properly. The HHOtek kits are good kits. Their design ensures that it does not overheat and cause unnecessary damage to your car.

Punch HHO makes two different models. If you want a pricier kit you can also opt for the Hydrogen Boost. Another mid priced kit is the Green Future model. If you want a bit of variety in your Hydrogen model you can opt for one the National Vapor models. They offer many different kits for your car.

There is of course another option; you can always make your own. There are different plans available to assist in your building. Two books are the Gas 4 free and the Water 4 gas book. There are also plenty of books about Car Hydrogen Generators on sale online. One is called Fuel from Water.

Another helpful book that is not explicitly for cars is Materials for the Hydrogen Economy. It goes into detail about different ways to use Hydrogen today.
To build your own Hydrogen Generator you may need a water tank that has a pump. You will also need wiring, connectors and epoxy. You will need a chamber with electrodes. Stock up on valves and copper mesh. You will need a screwdriver and drill as well as pliers and wire clippers.
